We admit it—we were excited when we heard about the new WE show "Put a Ring On It." But we were très disappointed with the pilot. Where was the romance? The sweetness? The aww-inducing moments?

To take the sting out of the letdown from the show, we found a few proposal videos and photos that are actually entertaining.

(Oh, and if you’re going to accidentally leave this up on your boyfriend’s computer, make sure he knows not to use the last clip as inspiration. But if he does, please send us the video.)

The Four-Photo Proposal
We love it because it’s old school, simple, romantic, and makes engagement photos totally unnecessary.

This one smells suspiciously of a publicity stunt, but it made us gasp nonetheless. We just hope the dude has insurance.

The Very Public, Very Planned, But Still Amazing Proposal
Yes, it involved choreography, lip-synching, matching T-shirts, but somehow it still left us kinda choked up.

The Shirtless YouTube Proposal
Minus points for getting another guy to do the asking. Bonus points for getting the Old Spice guy to do it.

The Cringeworthy Proposal
Let’s just say we know who is going to be the center of attention at this wedding. And it ain’t the bride.
